Indian Arts, Sports and Social Club (ISC Vienna) was formed in 1981 in Vienna, Austria, with only a handful of young players.

At its inception, the prime aim was merely to practice hobby-volleyball for maintaining the physique. After a couple of years' training, the ISC reached from its infancy stage to an amateur level. At this level, and in particular, by the arrival of some professional players to the club , ISC started participating in local as well as league matches in and around Vienna.

This enabled the players to get acquainted with the state-of-the art techniques and to build confidence among the players in using their talents methodically. With this confidence, ISC participated in several international tournaments held in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and won several trophies.

To mention a few, for the Six consecutive years from 1997 to 2002, ISC Vienna is the first prize holder of IAEA/VIS International Volleyball tournaments, where more than Ten International teams participate.
In 2003 and 2004 also, we have made memorable achievements.
